Registration Procedure 2010-2011

1st June, 2010

NORTH WEST COUNTIES 13-15 AMATEUR RUGBY LEAGUE

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE – SEASON 2010-11

  • All new players must register utilising the triplicate registration forms which includes a disability clause.

  • All new players must provide original proof of Birth Date coupled with one passport type photograph - the player’s name, age group and team name must - to avoid any potential loss or coming adrift from the main documentation - be written on the back of each photograph.

  • All registration secretaries should ensure that the triple registration form is completed correctly to include the signatures of both players and parents. Any omission of key data will lead to registration forms being returned and as a consequence an inevitable delay with card processing

  • The same person designated this responsibility should sign the form for all club team players.

  • New photographs should be provided once every two years – the photo must be a good likeness of the player.   The player’s name and/or ID number (re-registration)) must be written on the back of the photograph.

  • Re-registrations can be administered by using the re- registration lists provided.

  • Players and parent or guardian must sign the forms.

  • All Under 12’s moving up to Under 13s must provide one passport type photograph and the player’s name and/or ID number (if known) written clearly on the back of the photograph.

  • The team representative or official designated the task of administration must also sign the list before it is sent in to the League’s registration secretary.

  • It would be prudent for the team registration secretary to keep a copy of the registration list.  This can be compared at any time with my data held on behalf of the League.

  • If new photographs are not produced then, the current player ID card must be provided to prove that the photograph currently held on the database is indeed a true and accurate likeness.

  • Changes of address with Post Codes must be recorded on the re-registration form by simply deleting the old address and adding that which is new.

  • A change of name must be shown using a triplicate registration form and enclosing written proof/reason of the change of name.    If any photograph is out of date or otherwise does not show a true likeness of a player then a new passport type quality photograph must issued.

  • Each photograph must show on the reverse side of it the name of the player, his team and age group.

  • All forms should be signed by only one person from each club.  Variations will be returned.

  • When using the triplicate forms, please send to the registration secretary the white (original) and yellow copies. The pink copy must be retained by the club.

    • Each set of registration documentation must include within the package a suitably sized envelope on which the name and full address appears of the person to whom the player cards are to be issued. Please ensure a telephone /mobile number is included to ensure clubs may be informed that their cards are ready for collection – if appropriate.

ID cards may be sent directly to the club/team secretary, so please ensure the correct Postal Address  printed clearly on an appropriately sized envelope is made known to me.

  • Twenty five including inward transfers is the maximum number of players allowed per team in respect of all age groups holding membership of the North West Counties 13-15 ARL.

  • Thirteen is the minimum number of players per team and League fixtures will not be issued until 13 players are duly registered/recorded with the League.

  • Players must register to participate at a club within their own district (i.e. within 5 miles from where they live). Players are not allowed to play outside their own district unless such a registration/transfer has been ratified by the League’s Transfers Committee.

  • Clubs may not receive more than three transfers each season – each one from a different club.

All club registrations both new and those generated from the re-registration listings coupled with appropriate quality photographs (passport size) should be completed in full and in my possession by Wednesday 4th August 2010.
